Natalie Woodman was first exposed to posture management when she started to work in the Huntington’s Disease Ward and the Challenging Behaviour Ward at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability in 2001. Over a 4 year period she gained extensive knowledge on posture management and developed a specialist interest in seating and 24-hour posture management. She went on to Natalie completed a PGC in Posture Management for People with complex disabilities in 2006 through Oxford Brookes University whilst working full time at the Specialist Disability Service at the Oxford Centre for Enablement, part of the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital.
She gained extensive experience working with both adults and children with complex postural presentations. Natalie Woodman continued at the Oxford Centre for Enablement for a 5 year period before moving full time in private practice focussing on special seating and 24 hour posture management for all clients with complex postural presentations including spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy etc.
