Personal Training

At Neurolink our focus is helping you get better at what you do. Our client-orientated approach ensures that you not only reach your goals but also enjoy the journey! Personal training with Neurolink Physiotherapy cuts out all the guessing and gets you moving towards your goals faster.

To ensure your journey sets off in the right direction, first we like to take the time to get to know you. This initial session will help establish realistic goals and includes a simple functional movement and mobility assessment. Results from this session enable us to put together a tailored fitness blueprint that provides the correct level of stimulus for your continued progression.

What our Personal Training patients say…

  • "I use Neurolink for physio, PT and massage and don't think there's a better place to get the best service and advice. Natalie knows everything there is to know about spinal injuries and is very easy to talk to if you need advice about all aspects of living with an SCI. The atmosphere in the ... " clinic is very friendly but when you need to work hard the staff will push you to get the best results. Whether you have an injury, want to gain some strength or just want to lead a healthier lifestyle, Neurolink is the only place to go."Read more

  • "The team at Neurolink are really helping me address the wheelchair – related health issues that I have developed over the 18 years since my SCI. Having lived in various places around the UK and had first class experience of a number of the UK spinal injury units (which understandably prioritise their resources towards dealing ... " with newly injured patients) I can definitely say there is no other facility – NHS or Private – in the UK that does what Natalie and her team do. I can’t recommend them highly enough and I am so pleased I found them!

My personal fitness sessions at Neurolink are helping relieve shoulder pain that I have had for years. I used to wake up every night and my arms had ‘gone to sleep’, regardless of what position I was sleeping in. This has gradually reduced since starting Personal Training and it now only happens occasionally. I am sure this is because my posture feels better (my shoulders feel less ‘rounded’). With the FES sessions I am finally having a cardio workout, which is so difficult to achieve post SCI. I feel actively out of breath! My legs are building up muscle too and they look much better, especially when I wear dresses or my favourite skinny jeans."

  • "I have a spinal cord injury and have been going to Neurolink Physiotherapy for almost 4 years now and the progress and improvement I have made in that time has been immense. I owe so much to Natalie and everyone I've been lucky enough to meet and work with at Neurolink Physiotherapy, I really don't ... " know where I'd be without their knowledge, experience and support. I couldn't recommend more highly."Read more

  • "I have been working with Natalie and the Neurolink physio team for over 4 years. Natalie set up an FES programme with me that has helped to maintain vital muscle tone in my arms and legs. She has been brilliant at designing a programme that fits in with my daily life to make it as ... " manageable as possible. Natalie also helps me to source and trial any physio equipment that can support my ongoing rehabilitation and maintain an optimum physical condition. As part of this Natalie has helped me to find wheelchairs that suit my needs and has provided a wealth of information as to specifications that are most appropriate to me personally. I regularly attend Neurolink for physio sessions and massage. I have found Neurolink to be a very friendly and positive environment, everyone is always very welcoming and helpful and no challenge is too great. Through working with Natalie I feel that I have made significant progress and have been given ways to help implement this progress in functional ways in my daily life. Natalie is very good at understanding how individuals work and are motivated and everything she does is tailored to the individual and how they will respond best. I am so grateful for everything Natalie and the team at Neurolink have done for me and would highly recommend them to anyone."Read more
